SANDY SMOKE EXPERIENCE

Second day, Friday, June 3rd, was more about the adventures. With boat named “Pirat” we headed towards unique, sandy island Susak. Deep in the Susak soil, ancient Greek settlements were buried so we had no choice but to light Greek 2006 Vintage Cuaba Tradicionales, celebrating Cuaba's 20th anniversary at the same time.

Wonderful weather, warm sea, hot sand, local island food and ice cold Zdjelarević Rose and Malvazija wines were the perfect combination.

As Susak was once covered with vineyards, Mr. Davor Zdjelarevic, who was one of our guests, committed to help locals revitalize the wine sorts that once existed only on the island.

One of the 'hidden treasures' we had the chance to enjoy, was a brandy dated from 1945. found buried in the backyard of one of the local houses.

Our second cigar, classic Cohiba Exquisitos and the 70 year old brandy were a match made in heaven :)
